Terms of Service
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These terms explain the rules for using Accovio. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Accovio.
1. Who we are
Accovio is a sole proprietorship based in Lahore, Pakistan ("Accovio", "we", "us"). You can contact us at support@accovio.org.
Accovio is an independent study tool. We are not connected to, approved by, or endorsed by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP), ACCA, or any teaching institute.
2. The service
Accovio lets you upload a recorded lecture and receive study material made from it: a transcript, study notes, flashcards, a quiz and a flowchart. The study material is created automatically using speech recognition and artificial intelligence (AI).
3. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up and keep your password private.
- An account is for one person. Do not share your account or sell access to it.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
- If you are under 18, you may use Accovio only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
4. Credits and payments
- Accovio works on prepaid credits. Processing one lecture uses one credit.
- Prices are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) on our website before you pay. We may change prices in the future, but a change never affects credits you have already bought.
- New accounts receive free starter credits, as shown on our pricing section.
- Purchased credits do not expire. Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred to another account, and cannot be exchanged for money except as described in our Refund Policy.
- Payments are processed by our payment partners. We do not see or store your full card number or wallet PIN.
- If a lecture fails to process, its credit is returned to your account automatically.
5. Lectures you upload
- Only upload recordings you are allowed to use for your own study, for example recordings your teacher or institute has given you access to.
- Do not upload anything illegal, harmful, or that you have no right to use.
- You keep whatever rights you have in your uploads. You give us permission to process them only to provide the service to you.
- If we receive a valid complaint that an upload breaks someone's rights, we may remove the related material.
6. AI-generated study material
Study material is created automatically and can contain mistakes, especially when the audio is unclear. Always check important points against your lecture, your teacher, and official study material. Accovio is a study aid; it does not replace your teacher, your institute, or official ICAP material, and we do not guarantee exam results.
7. Acceptable use
Do not try to break, overload, copy, or get around the security or limits of Accovio, and do not use it to harm others. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. If we close your account for a reason that is not your fault, we will refund your unused purchased credits.
8. Availability
We work to keep Accovio running smoothly, but the service may sometimes be unavailable or slow, for example during maintenance or when an outside provider has a problem.
9. Our content
The Accovio name, website, and software belong to us. The study material made from your lectures is for your own personal study.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost marks, lost time, or lost opportunities), and our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the problem happened. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Pakistani law that cannot be limited.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When we make an important change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where possible, tell you by email or in the app.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Lahore, Pakistan.
