Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Accovio collects, why, who helps us process it, and the choices you have. Accovio is a sole proprietorship based in Lahore, Pakistan. Contact: support@accovio.org.
1. What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, and password. Your password is stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, so we cannot read it.
- Lecture recordings you upload: kept only while they are being processed, then deleted (see section 4).
- Study material made from your lectures: transcript, slide text, notes, flashcards, quiz and flowchart.
- A recording "fingerprint": a short code made from the lecture audio that lets us recognise when the same recording is uploaded again.
- Credits and payments: your credit balance, what you bought, the amount, the date, and the payment partner's reference number. We do not receive or store your full card number or wallet PIN.
- Technical information: basic logs such as dates, times and error messages, used to keep the service working and secure.
2. How we use it
- To create your study material and show it in your account.
- To manage your credits, take payments, and give refunds.
- To answer your messages and give support.
- To keep Accovio secure, prevent misuse and account sharing, and fix problems.
- To improve the service.
We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Service providers who help us
We use trusted outside companies to run Accovio. They process information only to provide their service to us. Some of them are located outside Pakistan, so your information may be processed in other countries, such as the United States.

4. How long we keep it
- Lecture videos: deleted as soon as processing ends, whether it succeeds or fails.
- Account details and study material: kept while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete them.
- Payment records: kept for as long as the law requires for accounting and tax purposes.
5. Shared lectures
Many students attend the same class. If the same recording has already been processed, we reuse the study material instead of processing it again, which gives you results faster. Your account, your list of lectures, and your activity always stay private: other users cannot see what you have uploaded.
6. Your choices
You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information, or to close your account, by emailing support@accovio.org from the email address on your account. We will reply within 7 working days.
7. Security
We protect your information with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and limited access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and will tell you if a problem affects you.
8. Children
Accovio is meant for students preparing for professional accounting exams. If you are under 18, please use Accovio only with the permission of a parent or guardian.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we make an important change, we will update the date at the top and, where possible, tell you by email or in the app.
